Gray Reed Advisory Services, a business consulting firm, has brought on Austin, Texas-based Adam Leggett to lead the expansion of its government affairs division under the GRPR brand. Under Leggett’s leadership, GRPR will work alongside clients to develop unique action plans specific to their policy goals, while establishing a trustworthy and productive business partnership. GRPR will also assist our clients in identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with the state’s leading decision makers in all three branches of government. To support the expansion of GRPR, Gray Reed Advisory has opened a new Austin office located in the Westgate building near the Texas State Capitol.
“I’m excited to join the GRPR team and contribute to the growth of Gray Reed Advisory’s government affairs division,” Leggett says. “Advisory’s commitment to providing clients with tailored solutions and strategic guidance aligns perfectly with my dedication to helping businesses navigate complex policy challenges. I look forward to working alongside this talented team to build strong relationships, drive meaningful change and deliver exceptional results for our clients.”
Leggett is a respected government professional with nearly 20 years of public service commitment and an extensive knowledge of the legislative process at the state and federal levels. Prior to entering private practice, he served multiple senior-level positions in the Texas legislature, the Office of the Governor, and as a trusted aide in both the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. In addition to his legislative background, he has a strong understanding of political strategy and grassroots mobilization from his time spent serving on local, statewide and congressional campaigns across the country.
Throughout his professional career, he has built an expansive network of contacts and resources in all three branches of Texas government. He has first-hand experience tracking complex legislative policies facing Texans and a proven record of bringing together legislative and industry leaders to deliver successful results in transportation and infrastructure, technology, natural resources, licensing & regulated industries, and utility-related issues.
“Adam brings a wealth of experience in government affairs and policy analysis that will be invaluable as we expand GRPR’s capabilities to better serve clients navigating complex regulatory landscapes,” Gray Reed Advisory President Mark Gargiulo says. “His government relations and lobbying capabilities perfectly complement the strategic communication and business advisory services we already offer Advisory clients, while also enhancing the legal services provided by Gray Reed attorneys. I’m confident Adam will play a pivotal role as we advise clients and shape critical conversations around the issues impacting businesses and communities today.”
